Great traditional French food and a charming old France ambiance alone would make for a wonderful dinner experience, but the host with a big personality treats everyone like old friends and makes the experience truly memorable. We have spents weeks in Paris over several trips from our home in New York, but our dinners at Au Vieux Paris stand out as really special.
The restaurant is a short walk from Notre Dame. The restaurant is small but charming. Our food was excellent and the service was great. I recommend it to anyone who wants to dine on terrific food in an intimate setting.
Les plats sont excellents, le cadre est magnifique (vielle maison de chanoine), mais attendre 45 mn entre la commande et le plat est inadmissible pour ce type de restaurant.
