Service sympa.
Poor service , wanted to sit inside but the waiter told us it was hot inside . So seated outside , then other guests arrived and were seated inside . Ordered the linguine carbonara and Jacque Coquilles (scallops) to share . Both arrived together . The scallops were nice and hot . The pasta arrived with raw egg & was cold . The server never came to check on our meal , never even looked in our direction .Spoke to one of the young servers and he says it was hot . Spoke to the original older server and he said it arrived hot . Obviously at this point we were not interested in having dessert and coffee . The German tourist sitting at the next table said that he would not return either due to poor service . Don’t waste your time here .
1. Table. Bench so high or table so low, I could barely fit and I am a small person. Almost an hour before my order arrived and when I said something before to one of the older, white haired guy about how long I was waiting, he said they were busy. They are always busy. I knew he was turning away people because I was at a cafe right across and saw him and his staff turn away people including the couple that sat next to me and was turned away.
2. As i asked again, waiting almost an hour and said I was waiting that long, he threw a platter on the table and told me it was less than 20 minutes and I was lying. Then he said I could leave. Instead of yelling back, I told him he didn't know how to run a restaurant. Maybe he was envious because he was almost as old as I am and he is working on a busy Saturday night and I am on holiday. I left. He had a plate of unpaid food. Good for him.
3. Don't go there. So many places for food that this one is easily skipped.
