Dining at Au Vieux Paris d’Arcole feels like stepping into old Paris. It’s Tucked on a quiet side street just behind Notre-Dame. It dates back to 1512 and was built from stones used to construct the cathedral itself. The decor is warm, intimate, and eccentric, With ivy-draped stone walls and antique furnishings. We had a fresh tomato and cucumber salad paired with burrata that was very tasty. The duck was great, as were the beef cheeks. For dessert, we had delicious ice cream. Special kudos goes to Francisco, who function as a server and maitre‘d. as he would say, he strives to make this meal experience, the best one ever.

I had my most memorable meal at Au Vieux Paris- an exquisite little restaurant behind Notre Dame. I had Beef cheeks and they were absolutely incredible. Indescribably superb. Service fantastic as well . You have to sit inside to soak up the atmosphere. You don't need to go to a Michelin star restaurant for a supreme dining experience. An absolute gem. #auvieuxparis
